A grand white seaside hotel above the boulevard.

Old character, a lighter rhythm

A seaside house, restored slowly.

Asterly began as a fictional brief: take a worn seaside building on the Zeeland coast and give it a second life as a small, owner-operated hotel. The restoration keeps what was already good — tall windows, deep sills, rooms that follow the light through the day.

Downstairs there is a long breakfast table, a small honesty bar and a stack of maps by the door. Upstairs, eighteen rooms, no two quite alike.

Cream stepped-gable facade of a restored Dutch seaside building.

Old rooms, a lighter rhythm

The house sets the pace: slow mornings, salt air and dinner recommendations written by hand. Everything worth keeping was kept, and everything else was quietly let go.
